Black Eagle: Rules of Conduct

Welcome to Black Eagle Project! Consider yourself lucky since you've just found the BEST private Black Desert online server. We are constantly in development.
Not to mention VERY active GM and DEV teams. This is a compilation rules for different areas of Black Eagle that must be followed by all players. Please be sure to review and understand all of them to prevent any unnecessary punishment due to violating them. Also, please be warned that these rules are subject to change without being announced, so be sure to review them once in a while and make sure you're up to date.

1. Gameplay Rules & Regulations

There are some general rules that all players must abide to when in game play. Some of these are common sense, while some of them may be specific. The common thing to keep in mind is that these rules are set to ensure fairness in game play between all players, and to prevent any unnecessary conflicts. People who are unable to follow these rules may be subjected to a warning, deletion of their character, or a permanent account termination, or even possibly an IP ban.

 

*No Botting/Speedhacking/etc. - This should be common sense. It is considered botting if your character is playing the game, and you're AFK. Anyone caught doing so will be delete their character, if not an IP ban. No questions asked.

*No Bug Abusing/Exploiting - Any software is bound to have bugs in it, especially during earlier stages of production. Any players found intentionally abusing or exploiting bugs within Black Eagle project will be punished depending on severity.

Some of the more common bugs that people abuse will be listed in the Temporary Gameplay Rules for reference.

*No Excessive Racism/Sexism/Sterotyping/etc. - Everyone is subject to their own opinions. Let's keep insults and stereotypes to a minimum. It's fine to rage once in a while, but don't go nuts!

*Don't Share Account Info - You've been warned. No Staff Member will ever ask you for your account info. If you do, do it at your own risk of losing your account. Nothing will be done about it if it's lost.
You're responsible for the safety of your own accounts.

*No Account Trading - As with the above rule, we aren't responsible for your accounts. Therefore, don't trade accounts/characters.

*No Real Currency Trades - Black Eagle items are for your own. If you want to trade, trade with Silver ingame. Players found trying to make a profit by selling their characters or in game items will result in account termination and possible ban.

 

*No Dual-Boxing - This includes using multiple computers to do it. Your punishment for dualboxing will vary from GM to GM.
They may choose to account shut down of one or both of the accounts in violation.

Unban request - To request that your jail report be reviewed, PM the Black Eagle Staff that banned you, along with Yothri and Bart, on forums. Provide sufficient evidence/reasoning as to why you feel you were wrongly punished.

 

*Do Not Impersonate Black Eagle Staff - Pretending to be part of the Black Eagle staff for any reason will get your ass handed to you by a real member of the staff. Don't do it.

*No Begging - It's annoying and if a GM sees someone begging, that GM will assume that the person is begging the GM for stuff.

*No Bug Reporting In Game - Don't do it. The staff will most likely forget because if they're in game, they're dealing with issues, working on something, testing, or whatever. Make sure to report all bugs onto forums so that a record exists for the Development team to review.

 

Listen to Administration Members - Every staff member has been placed at their position for a reason. Because the Admins feel they have a sense of responsibility to be able to make the right decisions. If you have a problem with one of the Staff Members, PM them privately and try to solve things out before going into an outburst.

Black Eagle Staff are Not Babysitters - We watch over the players, but we're not babysitters. Any small situations such as someone trying to insult you once or twice, and situations like that, needs to be dealt with between players, and should not be using Staff Members to deal out a "revenge blow".

*Use Common Sense - If you feel something is wrong or against the rules, it most likely is.

2. Temporary Gameplay Rules & Regulations

As previously mentioned, there are bound to be bugs in any software. Anybody found intentionally abusing these bugs/exploits will be punished with the same severity as breaking the Gameplay Rules & Regulations. Please be warned these are only a listed few severe and common ones, but are not limited to only these.

3. Event Rules & Regulations

There will be times when an Black Eagle Staff will hold an in game or forum event. Please note that these events are there to increase your enjoyment of the game to break the regular game play, and not for the full benefit of you being able to upgrade your gear set. The prizes are set the way they are for a reason, so don't ask why they aren't what you want them to be.

*Don't Question Decisions - Decisions made by the Black Eagle Staff are final. There is no reason why anyone should question them, unless you have sufficient proof that something might have been missed.

*Don't Interrupt - When the Black Eagle Staff is giving out instructions, stay quiet and don't interrupt. There's a reason why we're giving instructions and trying to structure the event, so just follow those instructions as requested. Interruptions include: spamming, asking non event related questions, requests to the Black Eagle Staff.

 

*Gameplay Rules & Regulations - The Gameplay Rules & Regulations (see above) are will in play. Anyone found breaking them during the time of an event will still be punished.

4. Forum Rules & Regulations

Black Eagle Forums is where the main source of communication occurs between players, between Black Eagle Staff, and others. It is important for us to follow rules when posting on forums in order to create a non-hostile environment for all the people to share equally. Inability to follow forum rules may be subjected to a temporary or permanent IP ban.

 

Must Speak English!!! - This is a multi-cultural forum, with English as a base. Please use English so we can all understand what you're saying. Feel free to try to use an online translator to translate your post.

 

*No Trolling - Simply said, if you don't have anything productive or nice to say, don't bother posting at all.

Search Before Posting - Many answers to questions have already been previously asked, and answered. So use the Search function. If you post something that's been asked multiple times, don't be surprised if your thread gets deleted!

Follow Templates - There are certain templates in some sections telling you how you should be posting. This includes the Bug Report Template, Support Desk Template, and Report A Player Template.

*Third-Party Programs - Advertising third-party programs, or discussions about them on forums will be punished with a forum ban, if not followed by an in game ban. If you're not allowed to use it, why would you think you can talk about it?

 

*No Advertising - Any threads found to be advertising other Black Desert Private Servers or something along those lines will be deleted. If you aren't getting the message, you will be banned from forums.

 

*No Spamming - Going through hundreds of threads each day is already a tedious task. If you don't have anything productive to say, don't post.

 

Topic Sections - There's a reason why forums are separated into sections, rather than having just one section and everyone posting in it. Keep things organized and it'll help everyone find what they need easier, and faster.

Maturity Content - Players of different age groups are within the community. Be aware of the content that you may be sharing, and avoid sharing things that may offend some people.

Use forum search. Don't go asking questions in the chatbox without previously having tried looking for the answer on forums.

there will be character whipes and such other things to progress the server.
